The cottage has comfortable sleeping accommodations for four, more if you like to be cozy, with an old-fashioned iron double bed and a bunk bed in the bedroom and a new sofa bed (double) in the living area. The kitchenette comes complete with an efficiency unit (sink, small fridge, two-burner stovetop) and microwave; outside is a propane barbecue. Birchcrest has a three-piece bathroom (shower), comfortable cottage furnishings, and an electric woodstove to enhance the ambience and comfort of cooler evenings.
