On the western edge of the property, Edgewood is a short walk from the boat and fishing dock. Nearby trees attract chickadees, nuthatches, woodpeckers, and ruby-throated hummingbirds. The open lawn in front of the cottage is an ideal place for children to play while adults relax on the screened porch. Edgewood accommodates up to six people, with a queen bed in one bedroom and two sets of bunks in the other. The three-piece bathroom (shower) provides additional shelf space. The cabin’s original structure houses the living and kitchen area, made warm and comfortable with wood panelling and a hardwood floor. The kitchen has a full stove and fridge, a microwave, and plenty of cupboards. Muskoka chairs, a picnic table, and a propane barbecue complete Edgewood’s amenities.
